Please remember: Voting is compulsory.
The penalty for not voting in local government elections is $55.00. Voting is not compulsory for enrolled non-residential electors except those enrolled on the Council of the City of Sydney roll.

Voting before the election

Will you be away for this election? Have you changed address recently and didn’t update your enrolment details before close of rolls on 4 August? As there is no absentee voting at local council elections, you can either vote by post or at your local pre-poll voting centre.
